Representatives of IPA meet staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kherson region

KHERSON, OCTOBER 17th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The meeting of the representatives of International Police Association with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kherson region was held yesterday, 16 October, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The sector of Public Relations Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kherson region reported today, 17 October.

According to the information, the Ukrainian sector of the Association has been operating for 13 years and works with 64 member states. Geographical spread of the IPA: Canada, the US and Brazil, Scandinavia, Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Central and South Africa, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. On the space of the former Soviet republics, except Russia, the national IPA section was created in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Ukraine. Representatives of Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Georgia expressed the interest in creating of such sections.

The slogan of the association is “Service through friendship”. It means that members of the IPA are able to communicate with the “colleagues” from different countries. In addition, the participants of the Association, besides developing skills, sharing experiences, have the opportunity to travel the world.

The meeting was attended by the Vice-President of the Ukrainian Section of the IPA A. Zarubitsky and the Secretary General of the IPA Ukrainian Section V. Ovsyannikov.
