Kherson authorities to present a development plan for the sea port

KHERSON, FEBRUARY 25th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — In March, the city government of Kherson intends to present the mutual with the management of sea port and public representatives plan for the development of the enterprise, as well as the return of the quay wall into the communal property, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Kherson City Council noted today, February 25.

According to the results of the meeting of the Standing Committee on Industry, Business, Trade, Transport and Services, dedicated to the analysis of opportunities for the development of sea trade port, it was decided in March to hold an open expanded meeting of the Standing Committee with the presentation of joint actions of the city authorities, the seaport and the public representatives on the development of this strategic enterprise and the return the quay wall, located in the city, in the communal property of the community.

As the chairman of the Kherson City Council Volodymyr Mikolaenko mentioned that the Sea trading port is a powerful enterprise providing stable revenues to the city budget, so the fate of the port and its development are the strategic objectives for the city authorities. It is necessary to unite the efforts of all the specialists of the city for the development of enterprises, joint promotion of their interests, both at national and international levels.
