Chelsea-6 a vessel designed by Odessa sea engineering bureau, was put in operation in Kherson

12:36 / 08.01.2008 ODESSA, JANUARY, 08TH, 2007, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE on January, 4th Kherson ship-building factory and «Concorde» company have put in operation a dry-cargo vessel of the Chelsea-6 project with a deadweight of 6 thousand tons, constructed under the project of the Odessa Sea Engineering Bureau, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports. The agency was informed about it today, on January, 8th by the OSEB press-service. As it was noted in press-service the dry-cargo ship is intended for transportation of general, bulk, wood, grain and large-sized cargoes and dangerous cargoes. The ship has four holds in total amount of 9780 m that allows transporting cargoes with the greater specific loading capacity and without the loss of tonnage. Chelsea-6 vessel has been incorporated on December, 22nd, 2004. There are 8 vessels to be constructed in this series.

INFORMATION: «Sea engineering bureau » was registered on March, 23, 1995 in Odessa. It was created by a group of scientific employees of shipbuilding faculty of the Odessa national sea university. The Sea Engineering Bureau is engaged in development of pre-contract, classification projects, projects of «conversion», modernization and renewal of the vessels, the internal and mixed navigation, preparation of projects of increase of carrying capacity and capacity of containers of the vessels , development of ship programs and other.
