Lactalis-Mykolaiv to invest EUR 1 million in waste water treatment plant

MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY 11th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Lactalis-Mykolaiv is planning to invest EUR 1 million in waste water treatment plant, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 11 February, at the press office of the company.

In 2009, the company purchased 2.6 hectares of land for the waste water treatment plant. The territory has been cleaned, fenced and electrified. The documents were sent to the Administration for Architecture for their approval. Now the project is pending approval of the Ecological Department. The execution plan is to be developed shortly, the construction is to commence when all the licenses have been issued. The project provides the system to be efficient, reliable, guaranteeing stable and high-quality purification. The system will include: a pumping plant, travelling screen, substation, grit and grease catcher, flow-measuring station, surge vessel and wells. The plant is to be supplied with modern French equipment meeting the latest European standards.

The construction works are to start early next year.
