Mar 31 2011, 09:30

MYKOLAIV, MARCH 31st, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — PepsiCo (represented in Ukraine by Sandora LLC) has launched a new energetic drink Pepsi Max, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 31 March, at the press office of the company.

According to their information, the new CSD drink is not a product to broaden the portfolio, it differs from the regular cola drinks by its energetic functionality: it contains heightened caffeine doze (compared with regular Pepsi) and redberry extract. The manufacturer claims the drink preserves the same fine and inimitable cola taste.

Unique 0,5 l bottle is new for the category and will be the key symbol for the product, together with the bright design and marketing support. Pepsi Max has been developed for young people.

The new drink is already available in stock. There is a massive and complex support campaign planned for it.

“Pepsi portfolio in Ukraine is logically and strategically continued by Pepsi Max that will drive a market share and customers loyalty within the category because of the product’s original features, brightness and Pepsi references. Pepsi Max is more in demand than regular Pepsi in some European countries and in Australia. Pepsi Max is a total boost, so the brand has a maxi-positive prospects”, marketing-manager CSD Anatoliy Gordeev says.

Pepsi Max is available in 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2-litre bottles.
