Student from Mykolaiv won a bronze at the International Geography Olympiad

MYKOLAIV, OCTOBER 19th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Valeriy Evtifeev, the student of Mykolaiv Maritime Lyceum of Professor M. Aleksandrov has won a bronze medal at the International Geography Olympiad, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mykolaiv Regional State Administration’s press service reported today, 19 October.

According to the press service, 8 ― 12 October, the VI International Geography Union Olympiad (IESO2012) was held in Olavarriya, Argentina. 64 students from 15 countries participated in the Olympiad. According to the results of qualifying and training sessions 4 winners of Ukrainian Geography Olympiad, including Valeriy Evtifeev, the student of 11 class of Mykolaiv Maritime Lyceum entered in the Ukrainian team. V. Evtifeev won the bronze medal in the intensive struggle.
