1 thousand 160 vessels has passed through the «Danube — Black Sea» channel for the current working year

NIKOLAEV, APRIL, 23RD, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 1 thousand 160 courts has passed through a deep-water ship course «Danube — Black Sea» for the current working year (since 18.04.2007), Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today, on April, 23rd, by the press-service of SE «Delta-pilot».

Since June, the quantity of vessel passages on the channel advances the similar parameter of the channel Sulinsky in Romania. The similar situation was observed only in May, 2005.

In parallel with growth of vessel passages quantity, the geography of flags extends, and there is an increase in cargoes export volume from ports of Ukranian Pridunavie.

Vessels under the flags of more than 35 countries of the world have passed through deep-water ship course «Danube — Black sea» for the specified period. More than 52 % of the vessels passed through the channel are foreign vessels. Russia, Turkey and Romania are among leaders in this issue except for Ukraine.
