Shareholders of the Black Sea Shipyard discharge Trikorta Commercial Limited from the chair of the Supervising Committee

MYKOLAIV, SEPTEMBER 27th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The shareholders of the Black Sea Shipyard held a special meeting of the Board of Shareholders where they discharged Trikorta Commercial Limited (Great Britain), from the chair of the Supervising Committee, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

This has been stated in the company’s official statement.

Trikorta Commercial Ltd was holding the chair since February 24, 2010. A new chair holder has not been appointed yet.

In addition, Folina Trading Co Limited and Kemero Investments Limited (both Great Britain) previously being the secretaries of the Supervising Committee were also discharged.

Instead, Mokrad Trading Ltd, Deminio Investments Ltd (both the British Virgin Islands) and Kostena Consulting Ltd (Cyprus) were appointed to the position.

Elianta Trading Ltd (Cyprus) was appointed a member of the Supervising Committee.

Elianta Trading, Mokrad Trading, Deminio Investments and Kostena Consulting are minority shareholders.

The committee is composed of 5 members.

INFORMATION: The Black Sea Shipyard located in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, is the largest shipyard on the Black Sea. It is most often referred to as the Nikolayev South Shipyard and was known as Soviet Shipyard No 444. The shipyard constructed the Moskva-class helicopter ships, Kiev-class VSTOL aircraft carriers, naval auxiliaries, commercial ships, and submarines. They also began construction of the legendary Stalingrad battlecruiser but it was cancelled after Stalin's death in 1953. Today, the shipyard is a major enterprise consisting of shipbuilding, machine-building, and metallurgy. The shipyard has its own design centre with a qualified engineering staff and modern computer equipment. Their integrated shipbuilding system (FORAN) includes computer-aided design (CAD), engineering (CAE), and manufacturing (CAM) of vessels.
