Four sportsmen from Mykolaiv and one from Odesa win Low-Kick World Gold Cup

MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 23rd, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Four sportsmen from Mykolaiv and one from Odesa won Low-Kick World Gold Cup, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today, 23 April, at Mykolaiv Oblast Kick Boxing Federation.

The organizers – World Association of Kick Boxing Organizations (WAKO) invited the strongest kick boxing teams from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine. Every team consisted of 5 people – four men and one woman.

The members of Ukrainian team were four citizens of Mykolaiv and one from Odesa – Yanis Lyashenko, Dmitro Kirpan, Oleg Shevchenko, Sergei Lashenko, Natalia Biryuk.

The Ukrainians showed fantastic low kick (there was only one failure of Yanis Lyashenko) becoming world famous and getting the main prize – one-metre-long gold WAKO World Team Cup In Low Kick.

The second place went to Bulgaria, Russia won the third and Serbia became the fourth.
