ODESA, AUGUST 16th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Medics from Odesa participated in US anti HIV/AIDS TB educational programme, context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Ministry of Health informed the agency today, 16 August.

According to the press service, a team of medics from the Odesa region, which included representatives of TB Regional Service, Regional Centre for AIDS, HIV organizations, the media, participated in the study abroad programme Coordination in Treating of the TB -HIV co-infected , which was held in San Diego (California, USA).

The organizers of the programme Public Relations, founded in 2005 by USAID Europe/Eurasia, invited the specialists for a three-week visit to take part in seminars, lectures, conferences, conducted skype-session with representatives of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, meeting with colleagues and attending American organizations and institutions dealing with HIV-infected people.

During these meetings, the participants of the programme gained valuable experience from their American colleagues and shared their professional domain.
