Feb 17 2015, 01:03

ODESSA, FEBRUARY 17th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Chairman of the Odessa Regional Council Mikhail Shmushkovitch has said that today the Polish experience of reforms — especially administrative reform is very important for Ukraine, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Shmushkovitch noted today, February 17, during a meeting with the new Consul General of Poland in Odessa Dariusz Szewczyk.

“Poland is actually our most important ally in the West, which helps us, especially in such a difficult moment.

Poland has a great experience of reforms, including the experience of the reform, which is now being implemented here — the administrative reform, which will be very painful, but the need for which was long overdue. And such experience of your country will have a great importance to us,” the Chairman noted.

“It is true — I know that this issue discussed at the level of Prime Ministers. I know that there is intended plan of Polish state mission, which will pass on all levels,” Consul General mentioned in turn.
