The Governor held a meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine

Odessa, 26 JANUARY 2017, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — The meeting of the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration of Maxim Stepanov with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine

It was reported to the agency today, January 26, in the press service of the Odessa regional Council.

According to the press service, yesterday, 25 January, the Chairman of Regional State Administration held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine. Also the meeting was attended from the Ukrainian side by the leadership of the regional prosecutor's office and the State Fiscal Service, from the part of foreign partners — by representative of the company Socar Trading Middle East DMCC.

Foreign partners noted the hospitality of Odessa region on the territory of which in peace and harmony live representatives of various nationalities, including the Azerbaijani community. Representatives of the Azerbaijani side also expressed the desire for close cooperation with the region, given its significant potential.

During the meeting the parties discussed ways of cooperation and potential areas of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of business relations.

M. Stepanov said: «We are building a country where everyone will live comfortably. I am ready to be a guarantor in order to attract investment into the region, favorable conditions were created for the business».

In turn, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan expressed hope for further close cooperation and noted: «For Azerbaijan, the Ukraine is a priority country».
