Mayors of Odesa and Tbilisi sign an agreement about further development of partnership relations

ODESA, MARCH 2nd, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Mayors of Odesa and Tbilisi sign an agreement about further development of partnership relations, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Odesa City Council information office reported today, 2 March.

According to their information, 1 March, the official delegation of the Odesa City Council and the business elite of Odesa started their working visit to Tbilisi, Georgia. The official delegation is headed by the Odesa City Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev.

During the visit, Kostusev met Tbilisi Giorgi Ugulava, the parties signed an agreement as to the development of partnership between cities. In commemoration of the agreement signing they decided to hold a friendly match between Dynamo Tbilisi and Chornomorets Odesa.

Also, mayor Kostusev met Speaker of Georgian Parliament Mr David Bakradze. The sides discussed the importance of developing comprehensive relations between our countries and the study of economic reforms in Georgia.

The Office added, that the members of the Odesa delegation visited the Customs Terminal Service Agency, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, where they got acquainted with the experience and the customs legislation of Georgia, and also visited the House of Justice, where Odesa officials and businessmen acquainted themselves with the full range of administrative services provided in Georgia and the procedure of their provision.

Today, 2 March, the mayor of Odesa and the members of the delegation met the first deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
