Austrian Ambassador: We believe the conflict has reached the degree of de-escalation
Mar 25 2014, 16:50

ODESA, MARCH 25th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ─ Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Austria in Ukraine Wolf Dietrich Heim has said that now there is the difficult time for Ukraine and expressed the hope that the conflict has reached the degree of de-escalation, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Ambassador stated today, 25 March, during the meeting of ambassadors of European countries with the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Volodymyr Nemirovsky.

Now the difficult time for Ukraine and, unfortunately, it lasts not the first week. I am glad that we managed to meet in Odesa, in a very important region of Ukraine. I thank the Chairman for this opportunity.

Aggression and threat to the integrity of Ukraine took place, but now we believe that the conflict reached the degree of de-escalation.

Another important step is a contract of the OSCE mission, which will carry out the work here ─ we hope. These are the first steps to resolve the conflict, he said.

I want to thank the representatives of the European countries for support, Odesa Governor noted.
