Two ships of Turkish Navy visit the port of Odesa

ODESA, MAY 20th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Two ships of Turkish Navy have visited the port of Odesa today, 20 May, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Odesa Commercial Sea Port reported today, 20 May.

According to the press service, today, 20 May, two warships flying the flag of Turkey called in Odesa port.

As the port operational manager ― chief operating manager Ruslan Sahautdinov, in an official letter to the Department of Consular Service of the MFA of Ukraine reported about the granting permission to the Navy ships of the Turkish Republic on calling in the internal waters of Ukraine and the port of Odesa. The visit is under way of the open naval exercises of the warrant officers training of Naval College.

According to the document, the frigate Sokulla Mehmet (F-517), a training ship Iskenderun (A-1600) will stay in Odesa until May 23.
