Deputy Foreign Minister of Moldova: I hope after the elections Ukrainians will be able to consolidate around European integration

ODESA, MAY 27th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Iulian Groza has stated that he hoped that after elections of the President, Ukrainian society could consolidate around European integration, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports. Mr Groza noted today, 27 May, during a briefing in Odesa. “I want to congratulate the citizens of Ukraine with elections have been held, the fact that the President of the country has been elected. This event was a key aspect of recent months. I hope that Ukrainian society can consolidate around such areas as the approach to the European Union that we, Moldova, are also do. I am very pleased to announce that on June 27, we intend to hold a meeting where you will sign an association agreement. Hopefully, the new President will be there and will also sign this agreement,” he said. |
