Opinion: It is necessary to intensify the inter-parliamentary dialogue of Ukraine and Romania
Oct 15 2013, 14:50

ODESA, OCTOBER 15th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ¬― Member of Parliament, the Chairman of the Sub-committee on social protection of servicemen, their families, and military pensioners of the Committee on National Security and Defence Sergiy Grynevetskiy has considers that it is necessary to intensify the inter-parliamentary dialogue of Ukraine and Romania, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Sergiy Grynevetskiy noted yesterday, 14 October, during the international conference “Ukraine and Romania: Partners or Competitors?”.

“I especially would like to emphasize the role of inter-parliamentary relations between Ukraine and Romania. Unfortunately, the degree of their development remains unsatisfactory. Suffice it to recall that the group on parliamentary cooperation with Romania in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was established only in 2009. I believe that it is necessary to intensify the inter-parliamentary dialogue. Parliament has serious work to adapt national legislation to the EU’s. And I think that the experience of our Romanian colleagues could be useful here,” the politician noted.
