The press service of Odessa Commercial Sea Port reported today, March 17.

According to the information, the administration of Odessa port has begun preparations for the international cruise forum. So, on March 15 under the chairmanship of the Chief of Administration port of Odessa Mikhail Sokolov, the first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 48th General Assembly of the Association of cruise ports of the Mediterranean and Black Seas MedCruise was held. The meeting was attended by heads of departments and services of SE ASPU, which are responsible for the organization, maintenance, transport and information support.

As of mid-March representatives of the five leading cruise world companies confirmed their participation in the General Assembly in Odessa. The interest in our region, the city and agreement to participate in the events of leading cruise operators is already a great success. Despite the difficult political situation in the region, we were able to convince our partners in the prospect of the next discussion on the development of cruise business in Odessa, as it was planned earlier. Thus, we want to show that Ukraine continues to be a tolerant and safe country for foreign tourists... said the director of the Black Sea Region Association MedCruise, Head of the Department of Tourism and European Integration of SE ASPU Elvira Leshchinskaya.
