International programming contest to be held on 2 March in Odesa

ODESA, FEBRUARY 9th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― International competition for the professional intelligence in modeling, algorithms and programming Open class programming competition will be held on 2 March in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The organizer, associate professor of Odesa National Mechnikov University Igor Mazurok reported today, 9 February.

According to Mr Mazurok, students, teachers, and professional programmers will participate in the competition on equal terms. According to the results of the competition the university and computer companies rating will be built. It will be known what teachers are professionals in the field of information technology and programming. It is possible the anonymous participation.

Competition will be held on 2 March and will be held in two regimes: a personal championship to personal physically present from 09:00 in ONU; and online team competition from 10:00 to 15:00 on the site http://codeLands.com.

He added that the competition is open for participants from all over the world and is free from any social or age restrictions. To determine who can participate in the competition, the system is used the requirements for the professional intellectual abilities and built the most democratic pro qualifier ― Open Class.

Competition will be used for testing of artificial intelligence ― it will take part in the event equally with people.
