ODESA, SEPTEMBER, 29th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Polish experts in garbage recycling are intending to present their achievements in the sphere, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports. Professor Iwona Kuczyńska of the Krakow Academy of Mining and Metallurgy stated it today 29 September talking to journalists on the occasion of opening of the International Conference in Odesa. “During the conference I will present a waste recycling technology allowing to extract the valuable from the waste, including zinc. The metallurgic technological process is accompanied with production of a great amount of dust, which on the one hand is waste and on the other it pollutes the air. I am going to present dust management technology allowing to purify the air and use the dust as recycled resources and get useful elements out of it”, she informed. According to Boris Galkin, Professor of Odesa National Mechnikov University “the basis for saving power and resources stand behind the bio technologies.” “In the west and in the USA micro-organisms are used as fuel elements, for purification of ore, renewal of territories and a lot of other things. So the conference is very important for Odesa. In march 2009 there appeared a research and study centre to unite the research processes of bio technologies and the study process. Lectures are conducted in the centre too. There is powerful fuel elements examination laboratory engaged in particular in transferring from gas to electricity and thermal power”, Mr. Galkin added. |
