Odesa singer wins 2012 Junior Eurovision for Ukraine

ODESA, DECEMBER 3rd, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Odesa singer Anastasiya Petryk has won the 10th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports. The final was held on 1 December in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Representatives of 12 countries reached the final. Anastasiya Petryk from Ukraine received a total of 138 points with her song Nebo (Sky). Last year's winner Georgia, with The Funkids, finished second with 103 points and Armenia's Compass Band finished third with 98 points. INFORMATION: Anastasiya Petryk was born on 02.05.2002 in Odesa. She is living in the village Nerubaiske, Odesa Region. Four years ago her sister Victoria got the best place for Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest when she came 2nd. |
