ODESA, DECEMBER 28th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — VI Annual Children’s Holiday “Christmas Fair” will be held in Odesa 4—5 January, 2011, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Pastor of the Central Church of Christians Denis Serdichenko announced it today, 28 December, at a press conference.

According to his information, the event has been held for six years in a row now. In 2011 the holiday will be taking place 4—5 January in Gamov Park.

He reported, 7 thousand children from health-improving boarding schools, orphan houses and care homes received invitations with the right to get a present. An overall amount of children is expected to be around 10 thousand. In the past years the number of spectators was approximately the same.

“Presents are collected for the children, they are given sweets at the fair, there is also an entertaining show. The peculiarity of the event is that it does not have sponsors — every citizen of the city can make their contribution: bring toys, or clothes or anything else”, he said.
