ODESA, FEBRUARY 14th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Yesterday 13 February, Metropolitan of Odesa and Izmail Agathangelus met Russian Consul General to Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 14 February, at the press service of Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Moscow Patriarchate.

According to their information, Metropolitan blessed the envoy for his fruitful work on the land of Odesa guarded by God. He wished him God’s help in his uneasy diplomatic work.

He also expressed his hope, the consul will continue the good traditions set up be his predecessors facilitating friendship and piece between Russian and Ukrainian people.
