Informal conference Social Camp Ukraine 2013 to be held 7―8 September

ODESA, SEPTEMBER 5th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Informal conference Social Camp Ukraine 2013 will be held 7―8 September in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The organizers of the event reported yesterday, 4 September.

Social Camp Ukraine is an open space for discussion of public projects and social initiatives, innovative solutions to improve the urban environment. Two days representatives of socially responsible business (Kyivstar, MegaFon, Lukoil), public organizations of Ukraine and Russia, as well as a socially active people will communicate, share experiences in the implementation of projects and initiatives, share innovative approaches to solving critical social issues and improving the urban environment. In addition, the main event of weekend will be the official opening of HUB Odesa ― a unique platform, where people can find everything needed for the implementation and development of their ideas.

In the framework of the conference there will be a competition of social projects from the HUB Odesa with a prize fund of UAH 18 thousand. Ideas/projects that can change society for the better, the urban environment, and the world around will be offered into consideration of the participants and jury. Criteria ― originality of ideas, realistic implementation, effectiveness and usefulness for the city.

The conference begins on September 7 at 11:00 a.m. at 1a, Greek, HUB Odesa.
