A sportsman of Odesa wins third prize at Fencing in Wheelchairs European Championship in England

ODESA, JULY 29th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Vadim Tsedric, Odesa, has won the third prize at Individual Fencing in Wheelchairs European Championship in Sheffield, England, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports. The agency has been informed about it today, 29 July, at the Odesa Regional State Administration for Physical Training and Sports. According to the office, 11—19 2011 the European Fencing Championship in wheelchairs was taking place in the United Kingdom. Ukrainian team was represented by nine athletes with the defeat of the musculoskeletal system of the five regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. Ukrainian athletes won seven awards, including 2 golds, 2 silvers and 3 bronzes. Among the teams from 20 European countries Ukrainian athletes rate fourth. Athlete, Master of Sports of Ukraine, Vadim Tsedric, Odesa regional centre Invasport, took the 3rd place in individual competitions in epee and 4 team place in competitions in epee. At the same time, Tsedric was the 9th in the sabre competition. |
