ODESA, JUNE 15th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 3 Odesa rugby players on Lechia squad will fight for the third prize at Polish Rugby Championship, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports. The agency has been informed about it today, 15 June, at the press service of the Odesa Rugby Federation. As the press-service informed, three leased to Lehiya (Gdansk), players of RC Credo-63, Odesa, did not help the ambitious team to break into finals of Poland. 18 June, RC Lechia will play for the third place with RC Budowlani, Lublin. The press service reminded that Eugenyi Chaika, Oleksander Polanskyi and Roman Kulakivsky have been loaned by the Polish team. INFORMATION: Credo-63 rugby team was founded in 1963. It had different names – Avangard (1963-1964), Yanvarets (1967-1984), Pressmash (1985-1988), Krayan (1989-1991), Credo-63 (1991-1993), Credo-Yuzhrekon (1993-1995), Kosmos-Myagkov (2000-2002), Myagkov-Vitol (2003-2004). Since 2005 the team has been playing under its official name – Credo-63. Since 2008 the team’s main coach is Mike Bishop (Australia). The club usually hosts its domestic games at Spartak Stadium in Odesa. |
