Odesa International Airport launches additional charter lines for the New Year and Christmas period

ODESA, NOVEMBER 26th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Odesa International Airport has launched additional charter lines for the New Year and Christmas period, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 26 November, at the press service of Odesa International Airport.

According to their information, direct flights from Odesa will be delivering tourist to ski resorts till the end of December — Salzburg, Austria, Erzurum and Bursa, Turkey. Direct flights will also be available from Odesa to Bulgarian Capital — Sofia for the Christmas period.

Additional charter lines to the popular Egyptian resorts — Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh will be available as well. Regular flights to Dubai will be renewed starting December 27. The flights will be available three times a week.

INFORMATION: Municipal Enterprise Odesa International Airport was founded in 1999 and is owned by Odesa City Community on behalf of Odesa City Council. The Airport is located in the southwest part of Odesa. The distance from the city centre is 7.5 km. The airport occupies the area of 570.3 ha. Odesa International Airport is one of the largest airports in Ukraine connected with many Ukrainian cities, CIS, Western Europe, Asia, and Africa. The aerodrome has one artificial runway (2800x56m), 57 parking places, taxiways network and one main runway. The passenger terminal was designed for international and domestic flights handling with 400 passengers per hour capacity. The cargo terminal provides handling of 30 tons of cargo per hour.
