NIKOLAEV, SEPTEMBER, 22TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – In January-July period the volume of goods export made up 845 mln. 400 thousand dollars USA, import – 498 mln. 700 thousand dollars USA and increased comparing to the analogous period in 2007 by 23,7 % and by 1.6 times respectively, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

This was reported today, on September 22nd, in the state government of Nikolaev region.

Here, the positive balance of foreign trade of the goods made up 346 mln. 700 thousand dollars USA, and the coefficient of import coverage by export – 1,7.

The enterprises of the region collaborated with the partners from 109 countries of the world. It formed 44% of export and 44,2% of import of the region in the trade with the countries of CIS came, with the countries of EU – 22,8% and 16,7% respectively. The main countries-partners in the export of goods were the Russian Federation, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Jordan and Italy, in import – Belarus, the Russian Federation, China, Kazakhstan, Guinea and Guyana.

The export of the region consisted mainly of cereals, the products of inorganic chemistry, mechanical equipment and devices, productions of shipbuilding. In import there prevailed surface transport vehicles, ores, mechanical equipment and devices, the products of vegetable and fruit processing, oil products.

In January – July of 2008 the import of foreign customer’s feedstock (textile semi-finished products, black metal products, different complete products) decreased by 9.3% and made 13 mln. dollars USA. The export of the production, made of it (textile products, black metal products) made up 17 mln. 100 thousand dollars USA and declined by 28,1%.
