NIKOLAEV, SEPTEMBER, 24TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Representatives of Nikolaev RCCI had a meeting with Norwegian experts in energy conservation, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

This was reported to the agency today, on September 24th, in the press-service of Nikolaev RCCI.

“Round work table” within the Norwegian-Ukrainian program in energy efficiency and “clear manufacturing” was held in Kherson chamber of commerce and industry. The president of Nikolaev CCI Sergey Vlasenko and the head of prospective lines of development department Larisa Gorokhova took part in the work of the round table. Norwegian partners of the project were represented by the association of scientific workers and technicians “TEKNA”, the consulting company “Reinersten ASA” and non-government organization “Norway is Friend of the World”. The coordinator of the Program in Ukraine is the spouse of Norwegian Ambassador in Ukraine Elena Berstad.

During the program training seminars for the specialists of Ukrainian enterprises and building organizations are held. As a result Ukrainian specialists create projects aimed at the increase of energy efficiency and resource-saving of their enterprises, building objects and so on. The best projects are offered to European financial institutes for obtaining financing or grants.

“Round work table” is held with the aim of spreading experience for other regions of the country with the further creation of centeкs of “Clear manufacturing” on the basis of regional chambers of commerce and industry. Particularly, Ukrainian-Norwegian organizers made a request to Nikolaev CCI for assisting involvement of Nikolaev enterprises and municipal services.
