NIKOLAEV, OCTOBER, 4TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — on October 3d, the tanker hull built for the Dutch company “Zanen Shipbuilding B. V.” by the order of PC “KSF” was launched at the CE “The shipyard by 61th communard”, IA «Context-Prichernomorie» correspondent reports.

The city mayor Vladimir Chaika and foreign guests – not only the representative of the customer Marcel Zanen but also the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic Poland in Ukraine Yatsek Kluchkovskiy – were present at the ceremonial launching.

According to the words of the acting general manager of the factory Aleksandr Aptekar the hull will be completed in Romania. The tanker hull is meant for the transportation of oil products and liquid chemical cargoes. According to the project the maximum length of the vessel is 135 m, width is 14.4 m, side height is 4.52 m.

Speaking about further plans of the enterprise according to the information of A. Aptekar another tanker hull (it is being built on the first socks) is planned to be launched this year. Besides, the handling of the metal for building of tanker was already started in the workshops.

As the enterprise director said, there are many offers, but the factory has serious problems of debts in different funds. However the current salary is paid (in July it made at the average 1 thousand 300 UAH).

“For solving the problems the factory needs an owner, it needs privatization, as the government has never been able to manage such specific factory and it won’t. The government gives us only moral support”, A. Aptekar said.
