NIKOLAEV, OCTOBER, 22ND, 2008, CONTEX-PRICHERNOMORIE – During January-June 2008 the turnover of retail trade in Nikolaev (that includes retail turnover of enterprises of retail trade, sales volume at the markets and of individual persons-entrepreneurs) made 3 milliard 300 mln UAH and exceeded the last year level by 26%, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

This was reported to the agency today, on October 22nd, in the CA of statistics in Nikolaev region.

In the structure of turnover of retail trade of the regional center 56% were the good circulation of retail network of enterprises – artificial-persons. The turnover made 1 milliard 800 mln UAH and comparing to the analogous period of the last year it rose almost by a third. The rise of volume of retail good circulation is connected with the noticeable intensification of impact on the situation in the present sphere of activity of the enterprises that own automobile sale centers and supermarkets.

Though on the one hand the network of big sale objects presented by super- and hypermarkets is developing rapidly, on the other hand – alongside with the network of enterprises – artificial-persons the ramified network of individual persons-entrepreneurs is functioning successfully at the consumer market. Today it exceeds the network of objects that belong to the enterprises – artificial-persons by 13 times and numbers over 12 thousand 700 units.

On the whole 2 thousand 600 shops function in Nikolaev, that make 36% from the general regional rate, 7 thousand 300 stalls (67.3%), 3 thousand 700 objects of semiportable trade outside the shops (sale from stalls, kiosks, rented sections, 54%).

Besides, 24 markets or a third of regional markets function on the territory of the regional center.
