NIKOLAEV, OCTOBER, 28TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – A passerby addressed to the district inspector of police station “Severny” of the Central district department and informed him that an unknown man was beating up the trolleybus driver on the terminal of trolleybus №7, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

This was reported to the agency today, on October 28th, in the sector of public relations of Nikolaev city police administration.

A 25 year old deliberate criminal was arrested. It turned out that a young man in the state of alcoholic intoxication insulted the driver. In his turn the last answered him. Then the young man in spite of age difference (the driver was born in 1959) started fighting. And the fight was going on during the trolleybus motion with passengers watching.

Actions of the suspected fit the signs of the crime stipulated by p. 1, art. 296 of UC of Ukraine (hooliganism). It is penalized by fine from 500 to 1 thousand non-taxable minimums of income of citizens or by arrest for the term up to 6 months or by imprisonment of up to 5 years.
