NIKOLAEV, NOVEMBER, 3RD, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – In the current year the tax police subdivisions of the region exposed 106 crimes (including 81 grave and especially grave crimes) against which complaints were made, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

This was reported to the agency today, on November 3rd, in the press-service of GTA in Nikolaev region.

Among revealed crimes 37 of them are connected with tax evasion in especially big amounts, in 14 of them the sum of the caused damage to the state in each criminal case made more than 1 mln UAH. As a result of held investigation and operational actions by tax police concerning raised criminal cases the state was repaid the material damage of about 10 mln UAH.

In sum, during 9 months of 2008 investigating department of the tax police completed and sent criminal cases of 60 crimes to court with the bill of indictment. The courts have examined criminal cases of 35 crimes with pronouncement of statements of 28 of them from fine appliance to real terms of imprisonment.
