NIKOLAEV, NOVEMBER, 4TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – In Nikolaev police officers detaines two citizens of Armenia Republic of 43 and 27 years respectively in the room of one of the halls of playing machines. 31 counterfeit 100-hrivna notes were confiscated from them, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

At present the investigation is being held. Police officers are to ascertain where the Armenians had taken counterfeit money.

The arrested may be threatened by penalty in the form of imprisonment of the term from 3 to 8 years stipulated by art. 199 of CC of Ukraine – “Producing, storing, purchasing, traffic of counterfeit money”.
