NIKOLAEV, NOVEMBER, 20TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – The police officers of Korabelny district of Nikolaev detained two persons of Caucasian nationality in one of casinos during attempt of dealing in false 100-hryvna notes, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

This was reported to the agency today, on November 20th, in the CDS of MHAD in Nikolaev region.

The alarm signal was pushed by the administrator of the establishment when she had doubts about money authenticity. The police officers that arrived at the place of the event detained the counterfeiters from whom they confiscated more than 5 thousand UAH of notes of 100 UAH nominal of old pattern.

The specialists of expert and forensic center under MHAD of Ukraine in Nikolaev region ascertained that the money was produced on the high-quality equipment. Each note didn’t arouse suspicion in its authenticity visually, it was possible to establish a false note only with the help of the special equipment.

At present the money is confiscated. The malefactors are under arrest. The law enforcement officers are establishing the ways of false money traffic.
