MYKOLAIV, JANUARY, 30th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICERNOMORIE – GE Delta-Pilot are going to invest 100 million UAH to finish the construction of the Danube-Black Sea Deepwater Canal, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press-service of GE Delta-Pilot informed the agency about it today, on 30 January, 2009.

According to Oleksandr Golodnitskiy, Head of the enterprise, “this decision was made by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, since the Danube-Black Sea Deepwater Canal will be repaying project in the future, it must be constructed at the expense of the enterprise but not at the expense of the budget. The state does not have enough funds for investments under crisis conditions”.

GE Delta-Pilot’s income for 2008 made approximately 130 million UAH.
