MYKOLAIV, 18th, FEBRUARY, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – NIBULON LTD became of the first Ukrainian agricultural manufacturers to become a member of the International Association of Operative Millers, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The company’s press service informed the agency about it today, 18 February.

A professional society of flour millers, IAOM has been a constant bulwark for over a century in an industry that has seen its share of ups and downs. Since its foundation, the association's mission has been to unite the «dusty» professionals in the milling industry, and to add to their knowledge base by providing continuing education opportunities.

IAOM has been the leading provider of educational resources and training for the milling industry since its foundation in 1896. Through conferences, workshops, correspondence courses, short courses and publications, IAOM has played an integral role in the continued education and training of the professionals in this industry for 110 years. IAOM is an individual-based member organization with a membership that represents some 70 countries worldwide. The association works solely to improve the profitability, efficiency and safety of grain mills, without tackling the more politically-volatile trade or regulatory issues. IAOM is a network of millers, who are able to share their professional insights on the technical and operational aspects of milling.

NIBULON’s membership is the recognition of the company at the international market. Ukraine ahs got not so many companies exporting high-quality bread wheat and guarantee its quality. Through the period of May – December last year NIBULON exported over a million tons of bread wheat to Jordan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Pakistan, North Korea, and Sudan over half a million tons of wheat. The company keeps winning tenders and providing their foreign partners with high-quality wheat. The company’s specialists have mastered the methodology of grain evaluation in compliance with the standards and demands of different countries. Due to this fact the needs of numerous customers are satisfied. The merchandize is produced in Ukraine, thus the selling of national grain is provided and thousands of Ukrainians are employed.

NIBULON is an experienced member at the world grain market. This is one of several Ukrainian companies being a GAFTA member. Lots of specialists of the company attended GAFTA seminars and trainings.
