MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 22nd, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Export of goods produced in Mykolaiv Oblast grew by 11,6 percent in January-February 2009 as compared with the same period in 2008, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today, 22 April at the press-service of Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration.

The volume of import at the same time decreased by 21 percent making 85 million 400 thousand USD.

The exceeding of export volume over import provided positive balance in foreign trade of the Oblast.

In whole the balance in the oblast in January- February is positive making 252 million UAH and exceeding the last-year index.

Substantial growth of the balance income was provided by transport and communication companies and industry (mostly machine building).
