MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 23rd, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Swedish delegation is observing personnel trainings at Yuzhnoukrainsk Power Station, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today, 23 April at the State Administration of the Ministry of the Emergencies of Ukraine.

The personnel trainings started yesterday. The trainings are headed by Natalia Brakovan, Deputy Governor of Mykolaiv Oblast. Representatives of the Ministry of the Emergencies of Ukraine headed by Vasiliy Kvashuk, Director of Department of Social Protection were also involved.

The trainings stimulate international cooperation in the sphere of information as the question of carrying out informational-explanatory work with the population in case emergency situations appear concerns international level too.

The Ministry of the Emergencies of Ukraine has been cooperating with the Institute of Radioactive Protection of the Kingdom of Sweden in creation of territorial and regional action plans on reacting to radioactive accidents. That was the reason for the presence of Swedish representatives at the trainings.
