Sandora launches a new product

MYKOLAIV, JULY, 8th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – 2 July, 2009, Sandora entered a new product into the market – FruTonus TM carbonated drinks, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today, 7 July at the company’s press-service.

According to the press-service, FruTonus carbonated drinks are filled at Sandora production complex No 2 in Meshkovo-Pogorelovo village in Mykolaiv Oblast. The company launched a special line for carbonated drinks production with capacity 170 000 000 l per year.

As they report in the company, FruTonus is a number of sweet carbonated drinks which are developed by Sandora Company specialists in four taste variations: apple and hips; lemon and coneflower; orange and sea-buckthorn; pear and lime.

The main drink components are natural apple, pear and orange juices in combination with healing plant extracts. The main target customers of this product are young people aged 22 to 28 with average income.

Sandora LLC Marketing Director Yelena Stoyanova said: ‘FruTonus combines 100 years of experience of Pepsi Company in carbonated drinks and the perfect quality of Sandora Company. The new product is planned to become a strong brand at the market of carbonated drinks which is new for Sandora Company. This step will help us not only in widening our product range, attracting additional customers and increasing of sales volumes, but also in strengthening our positions at the non-alcoholic drinks market.’

The planned production volume of this drink is 8 million litres till the end of 2009. At the market this product will be represented in PET bottles of 0.5 litres , 1 litre and 2 litres at the approximate price of 3.9 UAH per liter. However till the end of summer the company plans to sell this product at the unique price for all Ukrainian territory – 10% lower than the announced price.
