KHERSON, AUGUST, 7th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Kherson Customs officers detain M/V Saint Anna (flag of Russia) evaluated over 4 million UAH for violation of the deadline of duration of stay in Ukraine, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The agency was informed about it today, 7 August at the press-service of Kherson Sate Customs Service.
According to the source, director of one of Ukrainian companies violated the obligation of backward moving of the motor vessel. M/V St. Anna was temporarily transported to Ukraine for repair, but she did not leave Ukraine in time. M/V St. Anna was allowed to stay in Ukrainian territorial waters until 15 July, 2009.
In compliance with Art. No 348 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the ship-owner shall be fined 8 thousand 500 – 17 thousand UAH.
