ODESA, SEPTEMBER, 10th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – The European Commission’s Project ‘Children in Crisis and Elderly people: Steps towards’ has been presented in Odesa today 10 September, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

During the presentation, Executive Director of the Association “Community Council for Health Protection” Nikolay Tyshchuk reported the event to be dedicated to the International Day of Suicide Prevention.

According to Mr. Tyshchuk, the project aims at creating an integrated crisis service model for children and elderly people suffering deficit of attention and aid in the crisis conditions exactly to these two categories. The principal stage of the project’s implementation is the research of the children, youths and orphans' problems under the crisis conditions, studying the international experience in solving such problems, trainings both for professionals and volunteers.
