ODESA, SEPTEMBER, 12th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – III Ukrainian-Polish Veigl Conference will be held in Odesa National University, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 12 September at the press-service of the university.

According to the press-service, the aim of the conference is to develop Ukrainian-Polish dialogue between science people, exchange experience and strengthening ties between the two nations.

The organizers on behalf of Ukraine are the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, the

Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine, Odesa National University, Institute for Microbiology and Virology of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Lviv National University, Institute of Cell Biology of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine. On behalf of Poland – the Academy of Science of Poland, Microbiology Committee of the Academy of Science of Poland, Warsaw Agricultural University, Committee for Veterinarian Science, Polish Microbiology Community, Polish Community for Experimental and Clinic Immunology.

Among the special guests of the event were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Jacek Kluczkowski, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Maksym Strikha, Governor of Odesa Oblast Nikolay Serdyuk, Head of Odesa Oblast Council Nikolay Skorik, Rector of Odesa National University Valentin Smyntyna, and other outstanding people.
