ODESA, SEPTEMBER, 17th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – 17 September Nizhniy Novgorod Shipyard commissioned a vessel designed by Marine Engineering Bureau of Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 17 September at the press-service of MEB.

According to the information provided, after commissioning M/V Portoviy I will be tugged to the Port of Arkhangelsk where it will be loaded on a sea vessel to be transported to the place of exploitation on the Yenisei River.

INFORMATION: OJSC “Marine Engineering Bureau” was registered on March, 23rd, 1995 in Odesa, Ukraine. It was founded by a group of scientists of the Shipbuilding Department, Odesa National Maritime University. OJSC “Marine Engineering Bureau” works out pre-contract classification projects, projects of “conversion”, upgrade and renewal of sea vessels for internal and mixed journeys. They also prepare projects for increasing carrying and container capacities of ships and other related work.
