ODESA, SEPTEMBER, 29th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Today 29 September I International Conference ‘Modern Energy and Resource Saving Technologies. The Problems and the Prospects’ has opened in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The conference will be taking place though September 29 – October 2. Biologists, chemist and physicist of Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Poland will be taking part in it.

The opening of the conference was held by Prorector for Research, Odesa National Mechnikov University Prof. Vladimir Ivanitsa, Senior Secretary of ‘Anthropogenic Resources’ Coordination Council of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine Valentina Makogon (Kyiv), Chief of the Laboratory “Land, Metallurgy and Concentration Centre” Zinesh Abisheva (Kazakhstan), and others.

According to Prof. Ivanitsa, the problem of energy and resources has always been and will be utterly important as long as the human beings exist. He also stressed he hoped the contacts that are established while the conference is working will be developed further.

Mrs. Makogon in her turn said the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine had united with the science and organized this conference for the purposes of fruitful development of both science and industry.
