ODESA, OCTOBER, 13th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – BDO Balance Audit has finished auditing the financial reporting system of the Commercial Sea Port of Illichivsk, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 13 October at the press-service of the port.

According to their reports, “The independent auditors’ reports proved the Commercial Sea Port of Illichivsk was a rentable, high-profit enterprise: its pure income in 2008 went three times up compared to the previous year, the value of its principal funds increased by 30 million UAH compared to the beginning of the year, the liquidity index went up as well. The reporting system of the port correctly and accurately represents the financial state of the company in 2008.”

INFORMATION: Illichivsk Commercial Sea Port is one of the ‘youngest’ on the Black Sea. The Port was erected in the Soviet period in 1960s mainly for sea trade with socialistic countries. It has railway and vehicle approaches connected with the country’s mains. There are several operating ferry-crossings: Illichivsk–Varna (Bulgary), Illichivsk–Poti and Illichivsk – Batumi (Georgia). Cargo operation complexes of the Port consisting of 28 berths having total length 5 thousand 500 metres are equipped with modern cargo-operating machinery.
