ODESSA, MAY, 14TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — State Enterprise «Sea trading port «Yuzhny» press-secretary Irina Chibirova has informed that now the port works in a normal mode and consequences of raider attack of April, 25th are being liquidated, “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

I.Chibirova has told about to the correspondent of the agency today, on May, 14th, during the telephone conversation.

According to the press-secretary, «conditions in port are quiet enough now, everyone work in a normal habitual mode».

I.Chibirova also has informed that repair work is being conducted now in a building of port authorities which raiders have captured having got there through the broken windows.

According to the press-secretary, concerning the people who have made port assault, militia deals with them at the moment and then certain sanctions will be applied to aggressors.

As “Context-Prichernomorye” informed on April, 25th, judicial executors and about 1-2 thousand port workers led by the former deputy chief and former acting port chief — Vladimir Vasilev arrived to the port building. After the fight between arrived port workers and security, V. Vasilev and judicial executors have carried out negotiations with Y.Kruk. Then Vladimir Vasilev has taken the cabinet of the port chief.

Ministry of transport and communication has declared that events of April, 25th are regarded as raider capture of the port.

On May, 7th, about 03:00 nights, a group of 100-120 persons represented as they said the Dnepropetrovsk security agency hired by the ex-acting chief of port Vladimir Vasilev have left the building voluntarily. They have been taken out from territory of port accompanied by militia employees and special division «Berkut». Now workers of port carry out cleaning in a building and part of employees of the direction has already returned on their workplaces.

INFORMATION: Yuzhny Sea trading port is located at northwest coast of the Black sea, in nonfreezing Small Adzhalyk (Grigoryev) estuary and occupies leading positions in the country’s turnover of goods (20 million 698 thousand 600 t in 2005). Basic transportation directions of the port are: the Black Sea and Mediterranean pool, the USA, Latin America, the Near East, Southeast Asia. All kinds of cargo handling, warehouse and auxiliary works are carried out in the port; as well as processing of the every possible bulk and general cargoes transported by sea, railway and motor transport.
