MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY, 24th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Metinvest Group intends to commission a general cargo transshipment terminal at the Mykolaiv Port by the end of this year, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 24 February at the press-service of the port.

According to them, the investor of the project is the Danube Stevedoring and Shipping Company Ltd – the company affiliated by the Metinvest Group.

The stated amount of investment is UAH 229 million 100 thousand, projected capacity over 3 million tons annually.

Experts believe the new terminal will let Metinvest Group reduce their logistic expenditure at the same time bringing additional income from the non-core activity.
