ODESA, MARCH, 23rd, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Tentatively, 42 sportsmen of the Odesa region will be taking part in Summer Olympics 2012 in London, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Yuri Povolotskyi, Chief of Sports and Phisical Training Department, Odesa Regional state Administration, stated it today 23 March, at a press-conference.

According to the official, tentatively 42 sportsmen of the Odesa region shall be included in Ukrainian national teams to participate in Summer Olympics in London, Great Britain.

“But sure in two years someone may be added and someone may on the contrary be dropped. Odesa has always been and athletic region and it will remain this way. We have got some towns in the region that outstrip average indices in Ukraine”, the official emphasized.
