MYKOLAIV, MARCH, 25th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Ukrainian National Team comprising 6 nationals of Mykolaiv has won the fist prize at the Youth European Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship taking place in the Netherlands, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 25 March at the press-service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

According to their information, the Championship was taking place though March 18-21 in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The sportsmen representing Mykolaiv won 1 gold and 4 Bronze Medals – Alexandr Pilipenko (gold), Srgey Lyaschenko, Dmitry Timoshin, Yulia Zhdanova and Sofia Krilova (bronze).

On their arrival in Ukraine the sportsmen will immediately get down to training for the Championship of Ukraine, which will take place in the village of Koblevo 8-11 April, as well as for the International IBF Tournament which is to be held 22-25 April in Poland.
